EME Ambassadors Program
EME Ambassadors

EME Ambassadors are a group of students who represent the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering with enthusiasm. They are called upon to participate in events like Career Fairs (on and off campus), tours for potential students, EMEX - the EME undergraduate recruiting event, and other varied recruitment efforts. Their work does not take a great deal of time on a regular basis and is a wonderful chance to work more closely with staff, faculty and alumni.

EME Ambassadors have the opportunity to promote the department's different degree programs to current, future, and past Penn State students. We are looking for students with well rounded interests and hobbies. You should enjoy meeting people and working as a team. Good communication skills, event organizing, and group leadership experience are helpful. You must have three semesters of classes remaining at University Park to enter the program. Enthusiasm and community involvement are more important than GPA in this program. EME Ambassadors receive the Boris J. and Maria Kochanowsky scholarship in recognition of their participation.

See http://www.eme.psu.edu/scholarships/ for application procedure.
