Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Students Find Success at 2006 Regional SPE Student Paper Contest

Three Penn State Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering students received awards at the 2006 Rocky Mountain/Mid-Continent/Eastern Region Student Paper/Presentation Contest held April 29 - May 1. Daniel Leon placed second in the Doctoral division while Miguel Moreno took third place in the Masters division. Competing in the Undergraduate division, Doruk Seren took second place.
Petroleum engineering schools from the Eastern and Rocky Mountain Region of North America gathered at the University of Alberta for the two-day event to compete in three different divisions (Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc.).
