PNG 425 PRINCIPLES OF WELL TESTING AND EVALUATION (3) Mathematical basis for pressure analysis. Theory and practice of pressure testing techniques. Prerequisite: MATH 251, P N G 420. (Regularly offered in the Spring Semester.)

PNG 430 RESERVOIR MODELING (3) The numerical simulation of petroleum reservoir processes by the use of models; scaling criteria and network flow. Prerequisite: MATH 251, P N G 410; CMPSC 201C or CMPSC 201F. (Regularly offered in the Fall Semester.)

PNG 511 NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF THE PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF FLOW IN POROUS MEDIA (3) Differencing schemes for the partial differential equations of single-phase flow; application to flow of gas and mixing in porous media. (Regularly offered in the Fall Semester.)

PNG 512 NUMERICAL RESERVOIR SIMULATION (3) Mathematical analysis of complex reservoir behavior and combination drives; numerical methods for the solution of behavior equations; recent developments. Prerequisite: P N G 410. (Regularly offered in the Spring Semester.)
